The QR code feature:

- To offer an even faster functionality to open the unit information in the Zaptic App, the QR code feature can come in handy! This feature will allow the operators to scan a QR code for unit-relevant content to be displayed.
- If the operator scans within their TO DO list page, the barcode will display unit-specific tasks they need to complete.
If they scan the QR code in the Search page, this will display the Unit content page with all guides, tasks and information about the respective unit.
Preparing the data behind the QR codes:

- First we would need to assign Identification Codes to the units you would like to create QR codes for.
- You can add this by going into settings and adding an ID Code for each unit, or by bulk update. Identification Codes must be unique per unit.
- With the Data preparation done, you can now take the Identification Codes you assigned to the units, and create QR codes based on them.
Enabling the QR code functionality:

- In Data Management, you would select the Unit folder you would like to enable the functionality for.
- Within Settings and then the App Settings, make sure you check the box for the intended ID Code column.
❗Important: Please note that you have only have one ID Code per unit type.
- This will link the scanning in the app with the ID Code assigned to each unit.
- Now all there is left is to print your QR codes and inform your operators!
